At Magic Capital Close-Up Weekend, the performers are important-but the experience comes first.

Rather than building the event around a single headline name, we’ve always focused on creating a weekend people attend because they trust the convention itself. Looking at our past guests, you’ll see a consistent level of quality. Our attendees return year after year not for one person, but because they know the entire weekend will be worthwhile.

For that reason, we usually don’t announce performers in advance. It keeps the emphasis on the shared experience-the sessions, conversations, and surprises instead of attendance depending on one specific name.

There’s also a practical benefit: occasionally schedules change. By not centering the event around an advertised lineup, we avoid disappointing attendees and can maintain the quality of the weekend no matter what happens behind the scenes.

In short, we don’t sell a headliner, we promise a great weekend.
